Cosy Kiwi Accommodation is the perfect place to stay for a few days in Fiordland.
We offer a convenient base to create memorable experiences for families, couples, and solo travelers alike.
Situated on the Milford Rd. only a few minutes walk to Te Anau town centre, cafes, restaurants, shops, activities and the lakefront.

Our Ground Floor Accommodation has Standard Twin Rooms, King Rooms, and a Family Room. All rooms have Ensuite, Walk in Shower, Towels, Complimentary amenities, TV, Hairdryer, Mini fridge, Kettle, Tea and Coffee.

Check in
Our housekeeping team are around in the mornings and at check in time. If you arrive later - don't worry, we operate a self check-in and remote reception with a helpline number after hours.
If you arrive before the check in time, please be aware your room may not be ready!
Let us know in advance, we can arrange for you to leave your bags whilst you have a wander round town!
Please Note: Room Service is by advance request only, but is automatically available for guests staying 3 or more nights. Cancellation policy: strictly within 24hrs to be eligible for a refund.

A: Yes! We offer luggage storage and on-street parking options for registered guests while you are out on the trail. Contact us prior to check-in to arrange your multi-day storage.

A: Cosy Kiwi is an ideal base for day trips to Milford Sound, located approximately 2 hours (118 km) along the scenic Milford Road (State Highway 94).
Q: Are Guest laundry facilities are also available on-site?
A: We do not have a laundry at the moment, however we have a couple of 24hr laundrettes, closeby in town
Q: Does your place have kitchen facilities to prepare trail food or post-hike meals?
A: No sorry, Cosy Kiwi does not provide kitchen facilities; there is small fridge, kettle, and tea/coffee provided.

A: Absolutely. Our local team can recommend and book local track shuttles, Milford Sound boat cruises, scenic flights, or Luxmore Jet tours directly from our reception desk.

A: Yes, we provide free off-street parking for all guests with small cars. If you are driving a larger setup or carrying gear for Fiordland water sports, let us know in advance so we can reserve a suitable spot.
